We discussed the Table Builder in the content editing section. Well, here it is.
To build a table, you click the "Insert Table" button on the editor. A Table Builder window pops up and you select the columns and rows and their properties, then click "Update". You can then edit the properties of individual rows and columns by clicking on a cell in the table. Again, click update after each change. When your table is complete, click the "Show Finished Table" button. The placeholder images (the red boxes) are inserted to make it easy to find each cell in your table. Click on the "Insert Table" button and the window closes, pasting the table into the document at the current location you are editing. Select a red placeholder and paste in the text or image you want to put in that cell. Or, just delete the placeholder and start typing.
Next, the Content Browser, from both the main Admin page and on the top of the Editor opens a window that allows you to preview all the content from any of the "Content Collection" content types (as opposed to the Site Navigation elements or "Blocks" used on individual pages.
After you select a content type, you'll see a list of content. If you want to paste a link into your document, right click the filename, select "copy shortcut" and paste it into your document. Or use it with the "Link" button to create a link from some text in your document.
The Image Browser, also on the main admin page and at the top of the editor, works much the same way as the Content Browser, but it shows you the Images directory. Clicking on a folder link switches to the selected directory and shows you the folders and files in that directory. Clicking on an image displays that image in the browser. You can then copy and paste that image into a document you are editing.
Lastly the Site Browser, from the main admin page, shows you a view of the folders and files under the web root directory. Ok, on to the topic of Sending Newsletters. |
