Fast Development

The LoopyCMS allows you to put together a website quickly, because most of the work of building the site is done before you even start.  Just start building your site elements, pages and content and you'll have your site up before you know it. 

The LoopyCMS has WYSIWYG editing ("what you see is what you get") so you don't have to spend your time typing HTML tags, just format like a word processor.  The editor is customizable, so that your site can have markup tags tailored to your site.

The LoopyCMS also includes viewers that allow you to serve up Articles, Newsletters and other custom "content collections" tailored for sites that want to publish large amounts of content, such as on-line magazines.

Remote management

The LoopyCMS admin tools allow for page and content creation using only a browser.  Once your site is laid out, you can remotely publish from wherever you have an Internet connection.

Not Just Content Management

The LoopyCMS isn't just a content management system, it's also a web application development framework. The LoopyCMS is based on modular design, with code libraries that allow a developer to create applications that look consistent with the rest of the site. Web Form libraries, form processing modules, email delivery, and many other functions are just a procedure call away.

Web Applications

Not only can you develop applications with the LoopyCMS, but a number of useful applications are built-in.  Current modules include article viewers (including a printer-friendly support), Photo Albums, Newsletter distribution, Email product and website membership subscriptions, content protection integration (using AuthentiX), a directory viewer (useful for a downloads directory, for example), Email contact applications, public content submissions via email (for editorial review).

Flexible Architecture

You can use the LoopyCMS to make your site look almost any way you want without much work.  Because the LoopyCMS is based strongly on CSS stylesheets, changing the stylesheet updates your entire site. 

The LoopyCMS was designed to be customized, so if you want to over-ride a default behavior of the site for a page or a section of the site, you can do it.  If you want to replace a site element with a programmatic element, you can do that.  If you want to create multiple editable components on a single page, you can do that.  If you want to define an alternate stylesheet, you can do that.

Pages in the LoopyCMS don't contain actual content, just a few configuration choices and procedure calls to build the page.  The code that runs the public site and the code that powers the admin tools are separated into their own protected directories. The content files are also located separately.  This architecture adds a great deal of flexibility and protection, allowing for easy publishing support from a staging environment to a live public site.

If you don't have your own server, no problem, we offer hosting.  If you want to publish your site to your ISP hosting account, that's fine, too, as the LoopyCMS can convert your site to HTML pages.  If you want to run your site on your own server, just put the LoopyCMS on it.  You can create a staging server on any computer running Windows 2000 (professional or server), Windows XP Professional, or Windows Server 2003.  Then publish your contents to your live site, as you're ready to do so.
